Stupid Thrills
I was playing cards Saturday night, when my friend Tom decided to join us remotely from Seattle. So, we actually sat him at the table, and let him play. Above is Tom IM’ing us a picture of his view of me taking a picture of Tom taking a picture me! This was all on Grant’s computer (below), so I asked Tom to email it to me so I could blog it. I wonder if it can continue to get metabolized. Below are some pictures from the game that I took with my camera phone. You can imagine the dumb jokes: us offering him drinks, him pretending to look at our cards, and so on. At some point we settled down, and it became almost like a regular card game.
Finally, this is me showing Tom the pictures I took of him playing in our card game remotely. Confused yet? We are all having fun with our new MacBook Pros.

The only thing better than new tech toys, is a group of friends with the same interactive gadgetry! We may be devoid of meaning and sould at this point, but it sure is fun!

I’ve always assumed that fully animated avatars would be next, but, you might be right, we might see/smell the OdorShop technology first.
